State Engineering Association Day

Wednesday, April 6th
State Capitol

We met at 9:30 AM in Room 400SE at the State Capitol in Madison.  Members made it through tight Capitol security. President Mark Klipstein spoke about the current situation.  Second vice-president Tim Hanley had a short rally speech and distributed handouts with "SEA concerns" to members to discuss with their legislators.  Members came and went to appointments with their legislators.

Each year, SEA members visit the Capitol as a group on State Engineering Association Day (SEA Day) to talk with their legislators about issues that affect SEA and its members. SEA members are, of course, not just state employees, we are taxpayers and voters. SEA Day is set up so that our membership may gather at the State Capitol for meetings with their legislators to discuss issues that impact the SEA membership.
