State Engineering Association Day

SEA Day 2009

Wednesday, April 22

You should have been there. Close to a hundred SEA members were. We met at 9:30 AM in Room 330SW in the State Capitol in Madison. The consensus was that their visits to legislators at the state Capitol on April 22 had a highly positive outcome. Members reached out individually and in groups. They came and went to appointments with their legislators.

Each year, SEA members visit the Capitol as a group on State Engineering Association Day to talk with legislators about issues that affect SEA and its members. SEA members are, of course, not just state employees, we are taxpayers and voters. This year, members were especially interested in discussing topics related to making government work better.  SEA Day is set up so that our membership may gather at the State Capitol for meetings with their legislators to discuss issues that impact the SEA membership.
